Invasive. (Connor R A, Hodge K V D, Samuel C A, Wong L J, Pagad S (2022). Global Register of Introduced and Invasive Species - Anguilla. Version 1.6. Invasive Species Specialist Group ISSG.);
The Anguilla National Trust (ANT) identified the need for eradicating house mice (Mus musculus) from Sombrero to support the recovery and conservation of the island's biodiversity. An assessment visit occurred in 2017 and a feasibility study commissioned in 2019 (Bell 2019a) determined it was feasible to remove mice from Sombrero. An Operational Plan was developed in 2019 (Bell 2019b).
