Has spread to virtually all habitats on the Rock, where it forms extensive cover in many places. (Species that have been introduced into Gibraltar. (Unknown).); Extremely widespread and common on Upper Rock, where naturalised. Almost spread to its full capacity. The areas that are most affected seem to be road sides and cliffs, the recent intensive clearing of roadsides seems to have caused a proliferation of this species in some areas. This species seems to do particularly well in areas with little soil. Thus, it is often the first plant to be seen growing on cliffs and in areas of rocky debris, such as tunnelling deposits. Local flora should not be pruned and trimmed as vigorously as it currently is, and soil should certainly not be swept away from these areas. (Perez, C.E. & Bensusan, K. (2005) The Upper Rock Nature Reserve, A Management and Action Plan. The Gibraltar Ornithological & Natural History Society. Gibraltar); Very Common. (Gibraltar flora database (Unknown));
