Found commonly on open ground in all habitats all around the island (Tristan) [1]. Appears to have decreased since 1989 (Inaccessible) (Ryan & Glass 2001) [2].

Found commonly on open ground in all habitats all around the island (Tristan) [1]. Quite common on slips and in disturbed areas east of Blenden Hall and the Waterfall (Ryan & Glass 2001) (Inaccessible) [2].
First collected on Inaccessible by Christophersen in Feb 1938 [2].
