Gough: First collected in ??? ( listed as extinct by Cooper & Ryan in1994, so must have been before 1993) Again collected by Hänel in 1998; All plants were subsequently removed, and the species was thought to have been eradicated. After digging up soil near the site where it occurred in 2007/08 seedlings of Verbena sprung up again, and an eradication program is presenly under way. All plants were removed in 2008, and the site is regularly monitored. (Cooper, pers comm 2008) [2]
